Important: BondWell is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis, or at risk of harming yourself or another person, stop and contact your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME] ("BondWell", "we", "us"), the operator of the BondWell mobile app and the website at bondwell.net (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use BondWell
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service through a parent or legal guardian who creates and controls the account and accepts these Terms on your behalf. You must provide accurate information about yourself and keep it up to date.
2. Your account
You need an account to book sessions. You must verify your email address before you can sign in. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at support@bondwell.net if you believe someone else has accessed it. You may not share, sell or transfer your account, and you may not create an account on someone else's behalf without their authority.
3. What BondWell is — and is not
BondWell is a platform. We give you a way to find therapists, see when they are available, book and pay for sessions, meet by video, and message about your booking.
BondWell does not itself provide medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing in the Service is medical advice from us. The therapeutic relationship is between you and the therapist you choose. We do not supervise or direct how a therapist practises, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome from therapy.
The Service is not suitable for emergencies, crisis intervention, involuntary treatment, prescription of medication, or situations involving immediate risk to life or safety. It is not monitored around the clock.
4. Therapists on the platform
Therapists on BondWell are independent professionals, not our employees. Before a therapist appears on the platform we review their application and the credentials they submit, and only approved therapists can be booked. Each therapist remains solely responsible for the professional services they provide, for holding a valid licence where their jurisdiction requires it, and for complying with the professional and ethical rules that apply to them.
Ratings, profile text and prices are set by the therapist or generated from client feedback. Therapists set their own session fees, packages and working hours.
5. Booking a session
You book by choosing a therapist and an available time slot. A booking is only confirmed once payment has been completed; until then it remains pending and the slot is not guaranteed. Confirmed sessions appear in the app with the scheduled time, duration and, shortly before the session, a private meeting link.
You are responsible for attending on time and for having a stable internet connection, a working camera and microphone, and a private place to talk. If you do not join within 15 minutes of the start time and have not agreed otherwise with your therapist, the session may be marked as a no-show and treated as delivered.
6. Prices and payment
Each therapist sets the price of their sessions and packages. The total you will pay — including any service fee — is displayed before you confirm, in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) or US Dollars (USD). Payment is taken in the app through our licensed payment provider; your card details go directly to that provider and never to us.
You are responsible for any bank, card or currency-conversion charges your provider applies. We may change prices and fees at any time, but a change never affects a booking you have already paid for.
7. Packages
A package gives you a set number of sessions with a specific therapist, usually at a lower price per session, valid for a stated period. Once purchased:
- Sessions are deducted from the package as you book and attend them.
- The package expires at the end of its validity period. Unused sessions expire with it and are not refundable or transferable, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- A package is personal to you and cannot be shared with or transferred to another person, or moved to a different therapist.
- The validity period and session count are shown before you buy.
8. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
You can cancel an upcoming session from the app. Refunds work as follows:
| Situation | Outcome |
|---|---|
| You cancel more than 24 hours before the session | Full refund, or the session is returned to your package |
| You cancel less than 24 hours before the session | No refund; a package session is counted as used |
| You do not attend (no-show) | No refund; a package session is counted as used |
| The therapist cancels, or does not attend | Full refund, or the session is returned to your package; we will help you rebook |
| A technical failure on our side prevents the session | Full refund or a free replacement session, at your choice |
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing usually takes 5–14 business days depending on your bank or wallet provider. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact support@bondwell.net within 30 days of the transaction and we will investigate.
9. Acceptable use
When using BondWell you must not:
- Record, screenshot, stream or otherwise capture a session without the explicit prior consent of everyone involved.
- Harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against a therapist, another user or our staff.
- Impersonate anyone, or provide false information about your identity or your health.
- Use the Service for anything illegal, or to solicit illegal activity.
- Attempt to contact a therapist outside the platform in order to avoid fees, or ask a therapist to do so.
- Upload malware, attempt to breach our security, probe our systems, scrape the Service, or interfere with its normal operation.
- Copy, resell or commercially exploit any part of the Service.
10. Confidentiality and content
Sessions and messages are confidential between you and your therapist, subject to the therapist's professional obligations — including any legal duty to disclose where there is a serious risk of harm. We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
You keep ownership of anything you write or upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, transmit and display it only as needed to run the Service for you. You are responsible for what you share, and you should not share anything you do not have the right to share.
11. Intellectual property
The BondWell name, logo, app, website, design and all software behind them belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not give you any rights in them beyond a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service as intended.
12. Third-party services
Parts of the Service rely on third parties — payment processing, video meetings, messaging and push notifications. Their availability is outside our control, and your use of them may also be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for a third party's acts or omissions, but we will choose providers with reasonable care.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using BondWell at any time and delete your account from the app or from our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably believe your use puts other users, therapists or the platform at risk. Where it is appropriate and lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any session you have paid for and not used.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure at all times, that any therapist will be suitable for your particular needs, or that therapy will produce a specific result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BondWell is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EGP 5,000.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold BondWell harmless against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of the rights of another person.
17. Changes
We may change the Service or these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date, and for significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using BondWell afterwards, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service and delete your account.
18. App store terms
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store's terms. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and have no responsibility for the Service. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app, and in the event the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any). Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The courts of Cairo, Egypt have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us — most issues are resolved quickly by email.
